Kristin Fitzpatrick is a graphic designer living in Brooklyn, New York. She is currently the design director of Town & Country magazine.
From 2007 to early 2013 she was the design director of Marie Claire. While at the magazine, she art directed cover shoots, conceptualized art and photo ideas for feature stories, designed covers, features, apps and special projects, and managed a team of four very talented designers.
Prior to Marie Claire, she worked as the design director of CosmoGirl! magazine and art director of O, The Oprah Magazine. In 1999, while she was a senior designer at Fast Company, the magazine won the Society of Publication Designers’ prestigious Magazine of the Year award. She has also worked for TIME magazine and the Chicago Tribune.
Kristin graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English and psychology and earned an M.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri
